Cage on "What's My Line" 1960
From WFMU's "Beware of the Blog" comes this treasure. John Cage performing "Water Walk" on the national TV show "What's My Line?" I remember watching this show as a kid, but I must admit I don't remeber seeing this episode.

Hey, Scott. The show was "I've Got A Secret" (not What's My Line, which was the "other" show) and I saw the original and couldn't believe it at the time.
I was 16 and already a believer in John Cage. I remember feeling very embarrassed afterwards that Gary Moore made John into a clown. Seeing it again relived that feeling. But I had forgotten that Cage said he preferred laughter to tears.
